T25 Summer-Time Slim Down

Focus T25 Summer Time Slim Down!!!



Now that Spring Break is out of the way, it is time to get ready for summer!! Do you have 25 minutes a day, 5 days a week that you can commit to your self? I know right, WHO DOESNT? Set the DVR, then load T25 in the dvd player and hit play! It is that easy! 

I am looking for 10 people who are ready to take control and FOCUS for 25 minutes a day 5 days a week, and look and feel better in 60 days! I, myself have 40 lbs to lose, so we will all be here to support and push each other to follow through. This will be your group, so post whenever you want, get to know each other, and maybe set the line a little higher and get a friendly wager going. But you have to commit, and you have to follow through. And I am here to make sure that happens!

IT IS NEVER TO LATE TO CALL A REDO....



It definitely has been a while since my last post! Since I last wrote allot of different things have happened. My husband found a great job, and was offered a position in Colorado.  So you guessed it, we packed up and moved almost 2000 miles from Vermont to Aurora Colorado. We drove 53 hours in 3 days. It was a long trip, but we all made it here in one piece and we are loving it here!

However..... for some reason every time I move I stop taking care of my self the right way. Why, I do not know. But it happens. So I have lived her in Colorado for 7 months now and I haven't worked out more than 3-4 times. My healthy eating.... down the drain. The end result: I have gained back 30 lbs, my IBS is WAY WAY out of control, and I am having problems with my joints again.

Before you start thinking "well that is too bad". STOP! It is not to bad... it is absolutely RIDICULOUS! I am sitting her writing this, and I am pissed! I worked really really hard to take of the weight, and to start loving my body for its flaws and strengths. But now when I look in the mirror I am felling the same about my self that I did when I first started my weight loss journey in March of 2010. NOT COOL.

Well I am done with feeling that way again. I am ready to START OVER! I went to the store and I picked up a bunch of healthy and quick options for myself, because with my hectic work schedule EVERYTHING needs to be convenient. Now my big challenge is going to be setting my workouts and keeping to them.

The problem I face with fitting my workouts in my schedule is that 4-5 days a week my day looks like this:

5 am: Wake up
6 am: Leave to take hubby to work
7 am: get back home
7:30 am: wake kids up and get them ready and most days my self as well
8:30 am: have kids to school
8:30-10:30 leave for work
from that point in my day I am at work ALL DAY, until 9 pm most nights
9:30-10:00 pm get home from work.

Now I have no excuses on my days off, as I know that I could MAKE the time for my work outs. I would go work out in the mornings in the garage but it has been way too cold for that. So it has been challenging... Well challenge accepted...

My goal is to work out on everyday off and then 2-3 of my workdays. I am going to restart Focus T25. And my goal is to drop 20 lbs by mid June. And then another 20 by the end of August.

Tonight I am going to take my starting measurements and also my updated before pics, which I will share and update every two weeks. I am also going to use this blog more often to keep my self accountable, and to show others that we are all busy, we all work, have families, and obligations. But if you take the time to care about your health, you will find the time to dedicate that care and physically do something about it.

So here is to a NEW JOURNEY!

Hey there friends!! So I have had some great things going on for me the past week, I just wanted to share them with you :) first off, I restarted INSANITY 2 weeks ago, and I pushed past the first few days of my knees hurting, and I am now on day 15!!! That's right I am 1/2 way through my first month, wwooooot! And in these 15 days I have lost just over 4 lbs, and 6 inches all over! I am so fricken psyched about that!  Second I have been really taking the time to work on my self. I have been reading and listening to allot of personal development...I know, it sounds crazy, but IT WORKS!!! I am really focusing on my relationships with people, and with my work ethics... I am learning new skill sets that are making me approach everything so differently and it is truly amazing! Why am I doing this, you ask? Well I heard some say this:" When life is not going the way you want it to go, you need to work on yourself." And I truly believe in that!  I am taking my life and my business by the horns, and showing it who is boss. If you are ready to take your life by the horns, and want to make a change in your fitness or your financial situation, let me know. I am seeing so much growth in our company, and there is no reason you or I can not have a big part of that pie!! People out there need help, and motivation, and people to help them reach their goals.  That is what this business is all about, helping people and sharing with them tools that will help them see success! Are you ready to help people, and to make a difference in your and your families lives???

Day 1 of INSANITY...... DONE!

All I have to say is HOLY CRAP!! Up until now I thought that I have experience some crazy ass workouts in my life... Well.... I was wrong! Lets just say that the program isn't called Insanity for giggles!! That was the most INSANE, INTENSE workout I have ever done PERIOD! I did have to stop a few times, I did almost loose my cookies a few times.... but it was worth every sweat dripping, minute of my workout.  I am excited to hit my workout tomorrow, but this time I am doing it in the morning on an empty stomach... I am about to go INSANE!!

Well not literally insane, but tomorrow I am going to embark on my journey with the fitness program INSANITY.  I am a little scared, but I am super stoked to see how my results will be at the end of my 60 days with Celebrity trainer Shaun T.  I am going to be documenting my journey everyday over at my page on Facebook, Brandy Burns-Carey Fitness.  I am also starting an INSANITY challenge on May 28th, which will be a 60 day challenge.  You will utilize the INSANITY program, eat healthy, and plug into my accountability group that will help you stick with it the whole way!! Whether you are new to getting in shape, or just want to up your fitness level, this challenge will be where it is at!! Turning 30.....

So today is my 30th birthday. Many people I know have turned 30 in the past year and their comments on Facebook were pretty much all the same... "I don't want to be 30".... "I am old now"... and a whole lot of  "   :(  " faces.  For me this birthday has been an eye opener.  Today I am in the best physical shape I have EVER been in!  I am 3 lbs away from being in the 160lbs weight range and I do not think I have been there since.. well.. maybe middle school... I have made a promise to myself to make this new year of my life my year of continued fitness, and to get my body looking like I never thought it would.  But it is not about being skinny! It is about being in the best shape/fitness level that I have ever been in... I am making it my goal here and now that by my 31st. birthday I want to have completed or be signed up to do a 5K... I know it isn't the grand daddy of all running competitions but I have never been much of a long distance runner. So for me it will be a start.  Please join me in choosing a goal for the next year of your life that is tailored to getting/being/or staying fit and healthy. Here's to being 30!!
